Soo Wai Kin grew up in Malaysia with a profound interest in sustainable design and site performance-based solutions. He has 20 years of experience working on public, private and non-profit sector projects located in the United States and Southeast Asia. He has led multi-disciplinary teams in design and execution of highly technical commercial, institutional, retail, industrial, education, wellness, senior living, multi-family and civic projects.

Soo’s professional experience in federal, state, local, non-profit and private practice shaped his holistic approach to project execution and problem solving. Prior to his landscape architectural practice, Soo was a Biologist and a Fisheries Observer.  He is a licensed landscape architect in the State of California, and is certified as a SITES AP and LEED Green Associate.
